Allow Me to Explain

So. I was thinking about doing a more blog-style thing here. More sketch impressions rather than lectures on bad grammar. Maybe allowing a little mind leakage where we can ponder the mysteries together. There is space for replies, you know and I am open to questions about whatever you like.

I receive missives (email) from fans who ask why I am not writing stories any longer. There are a number of reasons I have been on hiatus but in all honesty, I've been recovering from a series of unlikely incidents. It's an astounding story in itself with good actors and bad. I am, of course, the hero in the lead so I'm the one who must live out the trauma and tragedy. One doesn't always feel like reliving some hellish course one has recently completed. Yes, but time heals all wounds, so they say. When it comes to forgiveness, I am not one to lavish favors upon enemies. Quite the opposite, I hold grudges with malice. 

Now, I might forgive more easily if the sinner asks for forgiveness, but that's never happened.

I am writing, just not the sort of stuff my fans want. The thing is, culture has turned into a clown show as governments and NGOs manipulate our perceptions of reality. What's real and what's fake? What's human and what's extra-human? Certainly the Taoist yin/yang of greed and survival still drives all human interaction, but what a show it's become, eh? It's difficult to focus and write a clever story with all the New World action going on.

Do you think we are on the brink of civil war here in the US? I do. That's a bigger story than something I could come up with...

Also, I've been surviving. I've had some serious health issues and typically, I was left high and dry by those closest to me. Funny how people will disappear when times get a little rough. I'm doing better than okay, especially considering that so many others are not.

So. Maybe this'll turn out to be more of a regular blog. Maybe I'll dox some more villains. Hey, maybe I'll say something interesting. Or maybe not. That's your call, not mine.
